Tuesday Tea Tasting Teafields' single objective is to provide the perfect cup of tea. And it's not far off with it's Halmari Gold, a classic Assam, malty and strong with a lovely copper (not quite gold!) colour. This June 2015 (second flush) tea has lovely bright golden tips and fine, twisted black leaves. Thought this cuppa was appropriate in the lead up to Christmas, just need some Frankincense and Myrrh for a the full festive package!
Tuesday Tea Tasting Included in my tea tour of Richmond was the tea and coffee merchant Rosie & Java and well, when in Rome, I bought the Richmond Royal Blend Tea, blended to celebrate Richmond's historic Royal heritage. It's a mix of Assam (North-East India) and Ceylon (Sri Lanka), a strong cuppa, not too much brewing time needed. Definitely the perfect Rosie Lee (tea) on a chilly day after a long walk, preferably Richmond Park where there are lots of Labradors...but no big bad wolves.

Tuesday Tea Tasting After a brisk walk through the park, kicking up freshly fallen Autumn leaves, it was nice to come out of the cold and hug a cup of Jing Chai. Tuesday Tea Tasting It feels like an Earl Grey kinda day... Looking luxurious, Jadu Tea fits the bill with their Mademoiselle Grey (Great Taste Award 2015). The Sri Lankan Uva black tea leaves are peppered with lemon peel, orange peel, lemongrass and fiery red cornflowers - so pretty you almost don't want to add hot water (but do).
