Tuesday Tea Tasting: I like white tea for its delicate flavours. Twinings Pure White tea does not need much brewing - in fact while they recommend 1-2 mins I wouldn't let is stew for longer than 1 minute. Then the sweet flavour comes through and it's light and refreshing. Another tip is to reuse the teabag - I found the second brew even better than the first!
I am totally in love with these pretty paintings on recycled teabags, especially the little teacups! Ruby Silvious paints and instagrams one every day in her 363 days of tea project. Definitely worth a follow and a little hint to the anyone buying you a birthday pressie. (uh-hum hint hint!)
Tuesday Tea Tasting: I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to green tea (and so are PG Tips having only launched the range in 2014) so I sent off for one of their samples to give it a try. Green tea can be slightly bitter I think, but PG's was pretty smooth and with Monkey on the label, it did make me smile! And now I want to give other green teas a try as I hear they are loaded with antioxidants and nutrients - so healthy and tasty.
